Berlin, 23 July 2019 – PSI Software AG has been commissioned by ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH with the delivery of a software upgrade for the existing Gas Management System (GMS) to version 7.8. In addition, PSI provides a variety of functional extensions as well as corresponding project services.
In order to meet the increased requirements of the liberalized gas market, it was necessary to enhance the efficiency of the process control system. The adapted GMS process control system PSIcontrol/Gas as well as the products PSIganesi and PSIreko in version 7.8.0 should fulfill in particular the essential requirements such as technical monitoring, simulation and control of the transport network. In addition, they should ensure the determination of gas quality for the billing of gas supplies, the provision of forecasting values for the simulation and the contract handling system of the transmission system operator.
As part of the PSI upgrade service, the upgrade capability ensures a technical basis for cyclical upgrades of the PSI software components used.
